Never feed wildlife, either intentionally or inadvertently. We get it-it’s really tempting to feed your extra carrot to a moose, or watch a murder of crows gather round as you spread seeds on the ground. But this creates bad behavior and can ultimately result in the animals’ death, because a dependence on human food doesn’t provide the nutrition they need. Or, even worse: They get aggressive and they’re euthanized, which is an unsatisfying ending for everyone.
